FAMILY & GENERAL DENTISTRY SERVICES
Our goal at New Image is to help you maximize your oral health and prevent dental disease or decay before it starts. Preventing dental disease begins at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet and is continued with general dentistry services.
This includes regular cleanings, dental exams, and x-rays (as needed). In addition to quality preventative dental care, we also provide cosmetic dentistry, sleep apnea solutions, and dental emergency options. We’re your Vancouver, Washington family dentist, taking care of all of your oral, dental, and hygiene needs.
As a family dental practice, we take pride in working with patients of all ages. We work with each patient to give them personalized treatment, whether checking around for that first tooth or making preparations for dental implants. In either case, we do our best to put our clients at ease.

DIGITAL X-RAYS
Digital x-ray is the latest technology used to take dental x-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor that captures and stores the digital image on a computer and reduces radiation 80-90%. It is a much faster process than the standard film x-rays and much easier to show the results.
FLUORIDE TREATMENT
Fluoride is a mineral that is naturally present in varying amounts in almost all foods and water supplies. The benefits of fluoride have been well known for over 50 years and are supported by many health and professional organizations. These treatments are usually offered as part of your six-month checkup.
REGULAR EXAMS AND TEETH CLEANING
Oral exams are about more than just cleaning the teeth, although this is an important step. Your dentist will be looking at the overall health of your entire mouth, so they can catch problems that may not be easily visible, like periodontal disease or possible cancer growths. The sooner these issues are detected, the sooner we’ll be able to address them.
TOOTH ABSCESS
An abscess occurs when a tooth infection extends all the way into the root of a tooth, which is known as the pulp. The abscessed root area is filled with dead white blood cells, other diseased tissues, and bacteria. An abscess can be very painful and affect day-to-day living.
